Meet the Illustrator
Jose Becerril is an Aztecan artist. His love for art started at the young age of 7 years old. He served eight years in the Military for Mexico as a sergeant. He is a self-taught tattoo artist and has been perfecting his craft for over 20 years. He is an avid collector of action figures from his childhood as his hobby. This is his first children’s book he has illustrated for, as he is always looking to pursue a new challenge. He now lives in Illinois happily married with his four kiddos that inspire and motivate him as he develops new projects.
